I strongly believe in the environmental movement’s creed, "Think Globally, Act Locally." I have been proud of my work as one of the dedicated environmentalists on the Newton Board of Aldermen. As an environmentalist, I try to examine the long-term impacts on our community of every development proposal that comes before the Board of Aldermen and to support policy initiatives that help to protect our parks and other open spaces, to expand our recycling program, to reduce pollution and other threats to our environment, to preserve trees, and to promote sustainable development.
