Three Ways to Get Involved

1) Share Your Thoughts— I work hard to represent you on the Board of Aldermen as a legislator and as your advocate with regards to the important policy choices facing our City. But I can't represent your views if I don't know what's on your mind. That's why I ask all Newton residents to consider my home phone number, (617) 965-3723, to be your personal complaint and suggestion line with respect to local issues of concern. The same goes for my email address: please email me at ken@kenparker.org with your thoughts and suggestions for how to improve Newton government. Let me know what issues are of particular interest to you and I will do my best keep you informed about important developments that relate to your areas of interest.

2) Make a Contribution— It costs me quite a lot to serve as your Alderman. I pay out of my pocket for copies, postage, cell phone calls, and many other expenses that help me to better serve you. In the past, I have also donated quite a bit to pay for my re-election campaigns. I've decided not to pay out of my pocket for campaign expenses any more. If you would like me to run for re-election in 2007, please make a campaign contribution now. There are two easy ways to contribute. You can make a secure online donation using your credit card or PayPal account by clicking here or you can mail a check made out to "Committee to Elect Ken Parker" to:

Committee to Elect Ken Parker
965 Walnut St.
Newton, MA 02461

Campaign contributions are limited by law to $500 per person per calendar year and corporate contributions are not permitted.

3) Volunteer to Help— Running for public office is a team effort. Please join my team. I need your help. To get involved in my campaign, please call me at (617) 965-3723 or email me at ken@kenparker.org today. You may think Election Day is a long way off, but I need to start organizing my campaign now.
